I just watched the most lovely documentary about the wilder side of London. It wasn’t just the gorgeous animals that I enjoyed, but the eccentricity of the people, I did wonder how the producers find such interesting subjects – how on earth could they know about the lady in the high-rise, throwing sausages out to the foxes?! Today’s run wasn’t without its wildlife: a kingfisher spot, numerous squirrels, parakeets, a woodpecker and ‘our wrens’ on my return home. The wrens are just enchanting. They like to sit on the fence ‘shouting’ at each other, like little fluffy ping-pong balls.
To make up for yesterday, I ran the school run then did a good hard gym session.
