It felt hard today, maybe because the pool was quite warm. I was doing my counting but didn’t feel like I was getting anywhere (although I was swimming much faster than the people on either side of me). Now, to keep count of my lengths I count in my head as I breathe out ‘one…one…one…one…’ and so on. Sometimes I drift off in my thoughts and realise I’m not sure which length I’m on. I wonder what other people do…I met up with Ellie yesterday and she said that not everyone is as obsessed as us and counts their lengths; I don’t understand how people couldn’t!
